Each sachet of Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Blackcurrant 1000mg Powder for Oral Solution contains 1000mg paracetamol. Paracetamol has pain killing (analgesic) and fever reduction (antipyretic) properties.
Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Blackcurrant can be used to relieve the symptoms of common cold or influenza such as headache, sore throat, fever, body aches and pains.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Adults, the elderly and children aged 16 years and over:
The usual dose is 1 sachet up to 4 times daily. The dose may be repeated in 4 hours with a maximum of four doses in a 24 hour period.
Do not take more than 2 sachets a day (2g/day) if you are underweight (<50kg), malnourished, dehydrated or if you have alcohol problems (see leaflet for more information), unless directed by your doctor.
Do not give to children under 16 years of age.
For children under 16 years, other formulations and dosage strengths are available which may be more appropriate.
- Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
- For oral administration. Dilute the contents of one sachet in a mug of hot water, do not boil the water. Stir until dissolved. If preferred, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or usual sweetener.

This medicine may not be suitable for you if you have a medical condition or taking any medications such as those listed in the Patient Information Leaflet. Contains paracetamol, do not take this medicine with any other paracetamol containing products.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
Precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or get worse at any stage.
Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or suffer from allergies.
Storage
Do not use Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Blackcurrant after the expiry date (EXP Day/Month/Year) which is stated on the carton and sachet. Do not store above 25°C.
