The active ingredient (which makes this medicine work) is ibuprofen which is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory (NSAID) painkiller.

How to use

DIRECTIONS
Shake the bottle well before measuring the dose. Use the syringe inside to measure the dose accurately (see patient information leaflet for details).
DO NOT give to babies under 3 months or babies weighing less than 5kg.

- Do not dose more frequently than at 6 hour intervals
- For Short-term use only
- For infants aged 3-5 months medical advice should be sought if symptoms worsen or not later than 24 hours if symptoms persist. If in children aged 6 months and over and in adolescents this medicinal product is required for more than 3 days, or if symptoms worsen a doctor should be consulted.
Hazards and Cautions
DO NOT GIVE TO BABIES OR CHILDREN IF:
- have or have had stomach ulcers or other serious stomach disorders
- Suffer a worsening of asthma due to aspirin or other similar medicines are sensitive to any of the ingredients
- They suffer from hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in this medicine (see section 6 of Patient Information Leaflet)
- They have ever had a reaction (e.g. asthma, runny nose, rash, swelling of the face, tongue, lips or throat or stomach bleeding) after taking ibuprofen, aspirin or other non steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medicines
- They weigh less than 5kg or are under 3 months of age
- They are taking any other anti-inflammatory (NSAID) painkillers, or aspirin
- They have (or have had two or more episodes of) a stomach ulcer, perforation of bleeding
- They have severe kidney, heart or liver failure
- They have inherited problems coping with fructose/fruit sugar (hereditary fructose intolerance). This is because the body can make some fructose from the ingredient maltitol
Consult your doctor prior to use, if your child or you are taking any other medicines or suffer from any medical conditions which are listed in the Patient information leaflet.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women and the elderly should obtain medical advice before use

Storage
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and bottle label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.

This is a medicine;
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist
Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or suffer from allergies
