CALPOL Sugar Free Infant Suspension is a strawberry flavoured oral suspension and is used for the relief of:
- Fever (raised temperature)
- Post-immunisation faver
- Cold & flu symptoms
- Teething
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Earache
- Other aches & pains

How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

DIRECTIONS
Children aged 2-3 months:
-Post-vaccination fever: 2.5ml. If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose.
-Other causes of pain and fever (if your baby weighs over 4kg and was born after 37 weeks): 2.5ml. If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose.
Children aged 3 months-6 years
- 3-6 months: 2.5ml, 4 times a day
- 6-24 months: 5ml, 4 times a day
- 2-3 years: 7.5ml (5ml + 2.5ml), 4 times a day
- 3-6 years: 10ml (5ml + 5ml) , 4 times a day
If symptoms persist after 3 days or worsen, consult your doctor.
WARNING: Do not give more medicine than the label tells you to
Hazards and Cautions
Contains paracetamol. Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if the child seems well. Do not exceed the stated dose. It is important to shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before use. Wipe the plug and neck clean and rinse and dry the cap before replacing. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Children aged 2-3 months:
• Do not give to babies less than 2 months of age
• Do not give more than 2 doses unless your doctor or nurse has advised otherwise
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses
• If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Children aged 3 months-6 years:
• Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses
• Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist
Storage
Do not store above 25°C. Keep in original container.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Precautions
This is a medicine;
- Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist
- Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or if you suffer from allergies.
