Lancome Miracle Cushion foundation
I've finally found my perfect foundation!
I've never been a lover of foundation as they've never looked natural on my skin and have a tendency of clinging to dry patches. This product feels so light and cooling on the skin, it smoothes onto the skin beautifully. I have combination skin and this works perfectly as it has a matte finish without looking too flat. My skin feels soft to the touch without feeling oily or dry in places. It evens out my skin whilst still looking natural.
Wonderful product and quick to apply!

Great Foundation but...
It's such a lightweight foundation, but it actually covers more than you would expect! And I feel like it's similar to mineral foundations in the sense that the coverage/foundation looks better as the day goes on. The way it applies is so easy and convenient; the sponge is great for application and the texture of the product is very nice - light and goes on evenly. Basically, it's just really easy to use, and you can actually take it with you in your handbag and reapply if you need to.
Overall, I love this foundation. It has a beautiful satin finish; it's lightweight with a buildable coverage. I have dry skin and have found that it doesn't really cling to dry patches.
This product however has lasted me just one month. I like the product, I like the idea behind it, but it is an expensive habit as it dries out so quickly and all the liquid has gone!

I had such high expectations for this product having heard rave reviews on the korean 'cushion' technology. However it wasn't really that impressive.
The application is very light which personally i'm a fan of, it does cover quite a bit but obviously if you have quite a prominent blemish you're going to need concealer. It gives a super dewy finish so for oily skinned people you'll either need to powder or just avoid this product entirely.
The wear time of the product is probably around 4hrs before it starts to look questionable. It fades and loses it's radiance so after that time it gives you quite a dull look.
Also, the SPF at 23 is quite low, and while is ok for our english weather, going on holiday you're going to need a much higher SPF.
Overall, i've tried worse foundations, but there are some much better ones available, hence the title - it was a bit meh...
