YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Radical is a mascara that delivers instant volume and length for a false-lash effect. Enriched with a new saturated carbon black formula for intense black. As worn by YSL Beauty ambassador Kaia Gerber.
The new brush combines flexible and rigid brush fibers designed to catch and coat lashes for easy application and volume without smudging or flaking.
The new formula is enriched with B5 pro-vitamin, walnut leaf extract from the YSL’s Ourika Gardens in Morocco, and Argan oil. The formula achieves a radical, carbon black colour payoff for a sultry stare and that extra YSL edge. The perfect finishing touch to any smoky eye look.

How to use
- Prep your lashes by applying Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Flash Primer from the base of the lashes to the tip and let dry. This will help to amplify the effect of the mascara and leave the lashes feeling nourished.
- Start applying the mascara at the root of the eyelashes on the outside of the eye.
- Swipe the wand across the lashes, pushing upwards & outwards at the same time with a gentle zig-zag type of movement. This motion will help create added volume.
- For the inner & bottom lashes, turn the mascara vertically and use just the tip of the wand and apply to individual lashes.
- For monolid eyes: focus the mascara application at the root of the lashes to enhance the eye definition. Drag the formula with the brush from the lash line to the tip of the lashes in rolling upwards movements. This will help to open the lashes
- For upturned eyes: focus on adding volume and curl to the lashes using first a layer of MVEFC Flash Primer followed by a coat of MVEFC Radical
- For downturned eyes: focus on lifting the lashes using a zig-zag motion. Layer an extra amount of formula at the root of the lashes followed by a rolling movement up to the tip of the lashes
- For hooded eyes: focus on opening the eye accentuating the curl and volume of the lashes. Apply mascara at the root of the lashes and at the outer corners of the eyes with extra layers
- For round eyes: focus on adding volume and curl to the lashes using first a layer of MVEFC Flash Primer followed by a second application of MVEFC Radical adding extra layers to the outer lashes
- For almond eyes: Focus on creating volume on the upper and lower lashes in a zig-zag motion and opening the eye shape using a rolling movement in a fan style to enhance the natural shape of the eye.
