SEVENTEEN Stay Time Foundation
Finally, a highstreet foundation perfect for pale skin!
I have searched high and low for the last 5/6 years for a high street foundation that matches my pale skintone. Anyone who is as pale as I am, will understand the battle to find a pale foundation without putting a hole in your pocket! And even then, there is not much choice, even after forking out £30+ a bottle.... I have now met my saviour! This foundation, although I haven't yet tested the staying power yet, having only just applied it, is AMAZING! PERFECT colour match, and a gorgeous texture, and a lovely matte finish (I have also used the stay time primer). And for just over £6 a bottle, what a bargin! My new best friend! I just pray that they never discontinue this product! !!!

Impressed so far
My first time wearing this today and I had to write a review! So impressed already. I applied the Stay Time Long Wear primer first and let it dry for a while. I had read that the primer can 'ball up' under the foundation so was careful about that. I used a brush to apply the foundation, it was easy and smooth. I am always looking for full coverage products for my skin, and this does a good job. Also, when bought in the 3 for £10 deal you're onto a winner!

This is my first Seventeen foundation & I'm pleased to say that I absolutely LOVE IT! Like a previous reviewer I also would normally struggle to find a foundation that is a good match for my pale skin as most of them are either, too light, too dark or too yellow but porcelain which I think is either the lightest or second lightest colour, is the perfect match my skin! but I wish there was a bigger range though as there's only 6 colours. The coverage of this foundation is brilliant, I can honestly say I've never had a foundation that covers my spots & redness without the need for concealer! (For once lol!) but I still use under-eye concealer. I use one & a half pumps to cover my face & blend down my neck ( my neck is lighter than my face) so you don't need a lot. I use my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to apply, I personally find a foundation brush is the best way to apply this foundation.
On me this foundation gives a satin finish which I prefer as I (personally) don't like foundations that are too dewey or too matte.
This foundation claims last for up to 25 hours but seriously.......who wears makeup for 25 hours?! I certainly don't lol! I can't comment if it lasts that long but I can say it really does have very very good staying power, probably the best I've had in a foundation because with previous foundations they didn't last very long & that was with a primer & powder! (I do use a primer, powder & setting spray with this foundation). This foundation is quite thick in consistency, so I put some on the back of my hand first for about 10 - 20 seconds, then blend in with my foundation brush. I seriously could not recommend/ rave about this foundation enough! If you have pale skin & are looking for a full coverage foundation you should definitely give this a try!
* If you do not like foundations that have a thick consistency & have a full coverage then I would not recommend this foundation as you would probably hate it! But I would recommend Seventeen's BB Cream which isn't as thick in consistency & gives medium coverage or (especially if you have normal - dry skin) No7's Instant Radiance Foundation which is quite thin in consistency & gives light - medium coverage but probably isn't good for those with oily skin as it would probably wouldn't last very long, you'd probably be better off with the BB Cream as long you use a primer & powder . (I have combination skin & have had both of these products before)
I'm going to stop rambling on now & I hope this helps! :)
