Arrow Product details

For occasional aid to soften, loosen and remove excessive earwax.

What is earwax?

Earwax is an accumulation of many different skin oils, skin debris, and other exudates that collect in the ear canal.

Why do I have a problem with earwax?

Quite simply, everyone is different. Some individuals produce excessive amounts of earwax, others do not. Additionally, it is not uncommon for one ear to contain an excessive amount of earwax, where the other ear is perfectly clear. Moreover, some individuals have a relatively narrow and/or contoured ear canal.

Is earwax good or bad?

It’s GOOD! In fact, earwax is the normal lubricant of the ear. Just as our skin contains lubricating oils to help protect against drying from water loss and heat damage, earwax functions to moisten the ear canal, while also helping to move bacteria and other pathogens from the surface. Thus, earwax has a protective function, and individuals who don’t produce enough earwax may experience dry, itchy ears.

Suitable for

This product is intended for use on adults and children over 12 years of age. Consult your doctor for use on children under 12.

How to use

FOR USE IN THE EAR ONLY

Tilt head sideways and place 5 to 10 drops of clear canal carbamide peroxide into the affected ear(s), making sure that the tip of the applicator does not enter the ear canal.

Keep drops in ear for 10 minutes by keeping head tilted or placing enclosed ear plugs in ears. It is normal to feel warmth in ear due to carbamide peroxide.

Remove ear plugs. Attach the special drainage collection cup to the enclosed soft silicone bulb to avoid the rinse solution dripping out of your ear. Now fill the bulb with luke warm water, gently flushing the ear with luke warm water, using the enclosed soft silicone bulb.

Use twice daily for up to 3 days, or as directed by a doctor.
