How to use
Wash your hands. Make sure the string is hanging outside the inner tube. Pull the inner tube out until it stops at the bottom of the outer tube, when you should feel a click.
Hold the applicator with your thumb and middle finger just below the ridge. Place the tip of the applicator into the vaginal opening and gently push the applicator towards your lower back.
Continue to ease in the applicator until you’ve inserted it as far as the rim of the outer tube. Then using the finger between your thumb and middle finger, push the inner tube inside the outer tube until both rings meet.
Gently pull out the applicator, leaving the string hanging down and you’re all done.
Once it's in place you shouldn't be able to feel it inside you, that's how you'll know it's in the right place.
Remember to change your tampon every 4 – 8 hours, or more frequently depending on your flow. To remove your applicator tampon, simply pull on the string.
Dispose of your used tampon by throwing it away in a bin. (Never flush a tampon as this can cause blockages).
Remember, practice makes perfect, so if you don’t succeed first time then try again when you feel more relaxed and comfortable.
Hazardous For safe and comfortable use of tampons, read and keep the leaflet that is found inside every tampon pack. Only use a tampon when you are on your period. When using tampons, always use the lowest absorbency for your flow and change your tampons every 4 to 8 hours. Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). This is a rare but serious illness that may be fatal. More information on the risks and symptoms of TSS can be found in the leaflet provided inside tampon packs.
