John Frieda Sheer Blonde Brightening Shampoo 250ml
As a devotee of the old sheer blonde enhancing shampoo and conditioner, I am now devastated by the "improved formula" version, and have consequently thrown away all that I purchased...
The old version had a clear shampoo which left your hair squeaky clean, and a thick luscious conditioner which meant one could comb through one's wet hair easily. And it smelt lovely.
The new version has a thick sticky shampoo which leaves your hair feeling clogged-up, and a thin conditioner which leaves your hair tangled, and causes a comb to cause breakage. NOT GOOD. And it smells disgusting - like bathroom cleaner... And who wants somebody kissing their hair smelling like that !!!
I am desperately sad. I LOVED the old products - especially the resulting glossy hair and shiny highlights - whereas this new version is a travesty.

I preferred the old product. PLEASE bring it back !!
Why oh why did you decide to change this product ???
I had used the old shampoo for years and loved it. It always made my hair brighter and shiny. This new product doesn't do either I won't use it again.
Also the new pack doesn't say that it can be used on colour treated hair,(the old version did ! ) so I almost didn't buy it anyway. Why doesn't it say this anymore ?? I had to come on this website to find out if I should have used it

Why change it?
I have used the old formula Sheer Blonde shampoo on my naturally blonde hair for years. The clear, lightweight formula was great, really made my hair shine and felt great. The new formula is too creamy, leaves residue and does nothing for my hair.
Very disappointed and struggling to find a new shampoo that offers what the old formula John Freida Sheer Blonde used to.
