Buscopan 10mg coated tablets are for the pain and discomfort of abdominal cramps and spasms. It works by an antispasmodic effect, relaxing the cramping muscle of the stomach and bowel. It can also be used for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
Suitable for
Adults and children 12 years and over.
Age Restriction

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Abdominal Cramps
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Take two tablets up to 4 times a day.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome:
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Start by taking 1 tablet 3 times a day. If more relief is needed, you can increase your dose to a maximum of two tablets 4 times a day.
Swallow each tablet whole with water. Do not chew.
Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Warning - Do not exceed stated dose

This medicine may not be suitable for you if you have a medical condition or taking any medications such as those listed in the Patient Information Leaflet. Please refer to the Patient Information Leaflet for further warnings, precautions, side effects and instructions for use for this product.
Not to be used if you have glaucoma (an eye condition), megacolon (a very enlarged colon), myasthenia gravis (a very rare muscle weakness) or are allergic to hyoscine butylbromide or the other ingredients.
Precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or get worse at any stage.
Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or suffer from allergies.
Storage
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the foil and carton label. The expiry date (EXP) refers to the last day of that month. Store below 30°C. Store in the original package in order to protect from light.

Calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, maize starch, starch soluble, silica colloidal anydrous, tartaric acid, stearic/palmitic acid, sucrose, talc, acacia, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 6000, carnauba wax, beeswax white and povidone.
