Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Nose Strips x6 3 5 28 28
Avoid! Got a lot of blackheads on my nose, and wanted to try something to remove them. These are, simply, not good. When removing, only the top layer of the strip comes off - the sticky glue bit stays stuck to the nose, and you have to scrub quite a bit to get it off. Then I found it just made my nose incredibly dry. After use it was covered in dead flakey skin - I think some of the residue from the gluey part had stayed even after scrubbing, which obviously wouldn't do your skin any good. Even after exfoliating to remove the dry skin, you can still clearly see where the strip was - that part of my nose was VERY shiny. You could see an outline, even a few days later. o.O;; Also, doesn't do anything to blackheads. Was pretty painful to take off, and pulled my skin a lot, but doesn't remove anything. Avoid like the plague - but the other Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel products I've tried have been very good. February 28, 2012
Very disappointing I have to agree with the other review here. Everything is fine when you apply the strips, it's when you remove them that the problems start. Like the other reviewer, I found that the strips were not removed easily and that they stuck to the nose. As far as removing blackheads, it only just managed to extract a little bit of the really superficial ones. Where the pores were most clogged, it did nothing, so you really can't see much of a difference. I have used other strips before that were a lot cheaper and they did a better job, so I was very disappointed. I really cannot recommend this product. April 7, 2012
Don't use these! I have always found nose strips great for getting rid of blakcheads, However I wouldnt not recommend the tea tree witch hazel ones. Similarly to the other reviews, My nose was left incredibly dry, with hardly any residue removed. Whilst waiting for the strip to harden on my nose, when lightly pressing on the base of my nose, i noticed there was actually some space between the strip and my nose suggesting they weren't in contact. This is something which doen't happen with other strips, and would suggest why they don't work so well May 8, 2012
