Boots Repel DEET Tropical Pump Spray contains 50% DEET for effective protection against mosquitoes for up to 5 hours from one application*. Suitable for destinations with high to medium risk of diseases, such as malaria. Not suitable for children under 2 years.

How to use
Always read the label before use and follow the instructions provided.
To reduce the risk of bites, wear clothing that reduces the amount of skin exposed (face, neck, hands and ankles. Spray exposed skin evenly from a distance of 15 cm. For face, neck and around ears spray product into palm of hand or cloth and the apply carefully avoiding eyes and lips.
Application of the product is not to exceed the following:
Adults: 37 pump sprays
Children over 12 years: 15 pump sprays
Children 2-12 years: 6 pump sprays
The product should only be applied by an adult following the above instructions. Do not apply to the child’s hands.
Only to be used during periods of greatest mosquito activity normally during dawn and dusk.

Wash treated skin thoroughly with soap and water when protection is no longer required.

Use only as directed.
Avoid all unnecessary exposure; in particular avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with eyes.
Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
Do not use under clothing.
Do not use in confined areas.
Do not breathe vapour.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
Do not apply sunscreen at the same time; wait until the sunscreen dries before applying the insect repellent.
Avoid contact with sore, sensitive or broken skin.
If an allergic reaction or signs of irritation/ rash are observed, or if anything unusual happens, stop using the product immediately and consult your physician.
Avoid contact with: spectacles and contact lenses, plastics, rayon or acetate materials, painted or polished surfaces and leather. Risk of damage.
If asthmatic, consulting your doctor before use.
The material and its container must be disposed of safely.
Where appropriate empty bottles are to be recycled. Disposal of packaging and remains of unused product in accordance with local regulations.

GENERAL: In case of accident, suspected exposure or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
IF INHALED: If inhalation causes irritation or drowsiness, remove to fresh air. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth thoroughly. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately.
IF IN EYES: Rinse the eye with water immediately. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
IF SKIN IRRITATION OCCURS: Get medical advice/attention.
