BIBS Colour is the original BIBS soother and has been on the market for over 40 years. It has the signature round BIBS shield with three vent holes and a round BIBS engraved handle ring. The shield is carefully designed to curve away from the sensitive and delicate skin around the baby’s mouth to prevent moisture build-up. The shield is made of food-grade material.
BIBS Colour comes with a round shape nipple. Nipples are available in natural rubber latex. 100% free of BPA. Designed and produced in Denmark. Complies with the European Standard EN 1400+A2.
The round nipple is developed to resemble a mother's nipple shape, feel and fit, offering a smooth transition between breastfeeding and soother use. The familiar tongue placement and sucking technique may help prevent nipple confusion while requiring more oral strength.
Hazards and Cautions
Replacement:
Regularly inspect your baby’s soothers and replace them every 4-6 weeks or at the first sign of damage or weakness. An enlarged nipple is a sign that it’s been in use for too long and should be replaced. Thoroughly inspect all new soothers before their first use by pulling the nipple in all directions and checking for small tears in the material.
Cleaning:
1. Put the soothers in a clean bowl. Pour boiling water over the soothers.
2. Let the soothers soak for approx. 5 min.
3. Pick them up and let them dry on a clean towel.
