Once you have decided that you would like to have a baby, it’s important to know how you are at your most fertile. These fertile days occur around ovulation when an egg is released from the ovaries.
Boots pharmaceuticals ovulation test allowed you to identify these days by detecting the sharp rise, or surge, in the level of luteinising hormone (LH) that occurs 24-48 hours before ovulation. Making love in that 48 hour period after the surge has been detected should maximise your chance of becoming pregnant.

- Over 99% accurate
- Remove the cap and hold the absorbent in your urine stream for 5 seconds only.
- LH Surge (Positive result): A line in the Result Window that is the same colour or darker than, the line in the Reference Window.
- No LH Surge (Negative result): A line in the Result Window that is lighter than the line in the Reference Window, or an absence of a line in the Result Window.
- Results may appear in as early as 3 minutes.
How to use
Follow the instructions enclosed. Store in a dry place a 2- 30ºC
You are provided with 7 test sticks which gives you 7 days to pinpoint your surge in LH.
For best results, perform the test at about the same time each day, between 10am and 8p. Reduce your fluid intake for two hours before testing as excessive liquid may dilute hormone and make the test difficult to read. You should not test with early morning urine, because although you can experience a surge in LH in the morning this make take up to 4 hours to show up in your urine.
Hazards and Cautions
Boots Pharmaceutical ovulation test is not intended for contraceptive USE
Use each test stick only once. Do not use a test stick that has passed its expiry date. Keep out of reach of children.
Certain medications or medical conditions, including but not limited to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), menopause and recent pregnancy may affect the reliability of this test for predicting ovulation. For details see the enclosed leaflet
