Soltan Protect & Moisturise Face Cream SPF50+ 50ML
I had always wanted to use a cream with a high SPF, but being dark skinned the ones I saw were very heavy, took ages to rub in and looked like you had rubbed chalk onto your skin.
I saw this one in boots and was told that it would be a great one to try as it rubs in easily.
It's great and best thing is, it dissappears! Not a chalky look in sight. The one down side to the product is that I do find it a little heavy so I tend to either use a smaller amount or mix it with a lighter moisturising product so it doesn't feel so heavy.
I love the fact it lasts for 8 hours so no need to reapply all the time and is fine to use around the eye area also.

I've used SPF 50 for years, but my income's not what it was, so
decided to stop spending so much on skin care and purchased this as a budget product that isn't tested on animals.
I used it for a few days on my decollete and I came out in red blotches that I didn't initially attribute to the sun screen until one evening I realised how sore my chest was and looked in the mirror to find the blotches had turned into what looked like burns.
I stopped all products on my neck and decollete, gradually reintroducing my usual moisturiser and then the sun screen.
I know I don't get on with Boots anti ageing moisturisers because of the retinol-like elements they contain and the last time I had a reaction like this was when I tried their Perfect&Protect range.
I had no idea a sun screen would cause the same sort of reaction, but it did it again when I reintroduced it.
I don't consider my skin to be particularly sensitive, so I am shocked that a sun care product can do this. Be warned;
If you have ever had any sort of reaction to anything, I wouldn't buy this, unless of course you're planning to audition as an extra for the remake of Towering Inferno ;)
