Smashbox O Glow Intuitive Cheek Colour
Product works, need to get used to it
I wanted to try this straight away on my skin, I have a medium skin tone and I dont normally go red when blushing so I wanted to see the colour. It came out a nice pink tone and was fun to use because it was clear coming out the tube. A little less than a pea size is a good amounnt for each cheek. It was a bit weird to spread because of the gel consistancy and so i had to rub it in to make it decent, at this point i could of possibly rubbed off any foundation i might be wearing. Its also weird because i woud usually apply blusher through a brush. However this is different to the typical powder cream blushes, i would categorise it with cheek tints. I would definately reccomend using a primer because it didnt stay in place for long - it just faded. I am not sure if I would buy this product again because I dont think that it is worth the price, and it didnt last that long on my face. It takes a bit of getting use to but if you like the colour then this could work for you too!

Lovely, Multi-purpose Beauty Product
I've heard lots about Smashbox as a brand, so I was excited to hear it was coming to Boots.
This multi-purpose cheek and lip product is the first item I've tried from the brand and it's definitely piqued my interest re.what else Smashbox has to offer.
With a slightly greasy serum-like texture, the product claims to react to your individual skin tone to create a blush colour that replicates the colour your cheeks turn when you blush naturally.
Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
I tried it on my hand first, and sure enough, the clear serum offered a rosy pink flush.
What I will say about products like this is how difficult they can be too work with if you're new to make up. I'd say start with a small amount and build it up, as too much may easily result in clown cheeks.
Overall, this is a pretty product that gave a nice subtle glow to the cheeks and lips.
Well worth the money!

A Bit Disappointed
Maybe it's just my skin (as this is supposed to match your 'blush' colour) but it just wasn't as effective as I wanted it to be. The gel is clear when you first apply it, & I could definitely see a change in colour once I blended it in but it wasn't enough; it felt too subtle for me. I am used to applying blusher/bronzer though so for me this isn't what I'm used to so it may be great for a more minimal make-up or a natural look if you don't usually wear makeup.
I like the silky feel of the product when you apply it and I think it's great you can use it as a lip stain for a hint of colour on your lips. The product also seems to keep your skin moisturised and doesn't dry out, which is especially great for your lips as most lip stains seem to really dry my lips out.
Overall a great product for a really subtle flush of colour.
