Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eyecolour
Colour not as expected.
This is not the medium azure blue as illustrated. It is a dark sea green / teal type of colour. A little goes a very long way, when blended in, but is not the clear, bight blue I am searching for. Cream shadows are not easy to find and like this one, are mostly expensive, so I was very disappointed with this purchase.

Why The Limited Shade Range, Boots?
I have no issue with the formula of these cream eyeshadows. Â Formula-wise, they are some of the best cream shadows available; like creamier versions of MAC Paint Pots. Â My issue is with the limited colour range available.
All the shades currently on boots.com date back to the original 2011 collection, with BR709 Sable being the only neutral (v. pretty). Â Although some of these shades are now being phased out, I don't ever remember seeing the more popular neutrals from this collection on the Boots website, like BR306 Leather and GR707 Patina (although they are still available at other major chains). Â Shiseido released 3 colours in the Spring 2012 collection (again, still available elsewhere), 8 colours in the Spring 2014 collection and 4 colours in the Spring 2015 collection (available elsewhere). Â To my knowledge, NONE of these shades have ever been sold online at Boots. Â Most recently, Shiseido released 5 gorgeous neutrals in their Autumn/Winter 2015 collection (my favourites being BR731 Kitsune, BE728 Clay & GR732 Binchotan). Â All 5 shades can be purchased at ANY major store that stocks Shiseido but - once again - none of them are available on boots.com. Â To summarise, boots.com has missed the last 4 collections of Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Colours. Â [.....Please Boots, at least TRY to keep up!]
