Scott Cornwall Precolour Protein Spray 3 5 2 2
Initially I thought this was amazing... I used this all over my hair before using a pre lightener then a box dye. It made my hair feel soft and protected and I was very happy for the first week or so. I then began using it to help maintain the non damaged ends, now almost a fortnight later Ive noticed my hair is considerably shorter - due to breakage. I probably should have looked it up prior to using it, but apparently too much protein can cause breakage. Maybe the fault is mine as I over used the product but there are no warning signs on it. I strongly believe this product contributed greatly to my hair breakage as its the only product I changed. Use with caution or not at all if possible. February 23, 2016
Seems to be good. After having ombre hair for so long I wanted to go back to my natural colour (Dark brown) and decided to just whack on a box dye. However it had a green tinge, so I dyed it a second time. Which ended up fading really quick. I read online that protein spray helps. I tried sally's but the lass had no idea what I was on about! Then when I was in boots I thought i'd have a look which is when I came across this! I bought this and used it on my hair before dying it. It is easy to use, just spray it on and then dye your hair afterwards. 3 weeks on and my hair has kept the colour (well it is slightly lighter but not as bad as what it would have been without it) But not more green tinge. Unlike the other review I have only used it the once, because it is a chemical afterall so didn't want to damage my hair anymore. I also bought some shampoo and conditioner with no sulfate in which also helps and only wash my hair every 3 to 4 days. I also use cold water on my hair instead of hot water. The product is great but you need to do other stuff to help your hair too! Hope this helps others! April 6, 2016
