Philips AVENT Newborn Flow Teat 0m+
Teat failed to allow feed through
We've had three separate newly-bought Avent Natural 0+m teats that have not allowed any feed through, meaning our two-week old newborn not getting any milk. This resulted in wasted feed and a hungry baby.

Brilliant , buy them, these and the new avent natural bottles are fab, they do not leak like the classic ones used to. I breastfed but had to start bottles and these were brilliant while mixed feeding, baby didn't get confused, simple to clean, teat does not collapse, baby doesn't get covered in milk/dribbles in chin. Buy them! Just does what says on the tin, can't imagine why anyone would choose the fancy other makes with loads parts to fix together and clean.

Avent bottles and accessories are expensive and don't work for colic
We invested in three while Avent range for our newborn. Avent are the premium brand when it comes to baby bottles, however after a 6 weeks we've switched to MaM, which are cheaper and more effective. These teats from avent are advertised as anti colic and have air vents but it simple doesn't work. The vents are easily blocked. This causes an air vacuum and discomfort for the baby. Glad we have switched to MaM anti colic bottles which make night feeds much quicker with less crying.
