Who we are?
Boots is a member of Alliance Boots, an international pharmacy-led health and beauty group. We've now brought together the very best from Alliance Pharmacy and Boots to create a new Boots business.
Our purpose is to help our customers look and feel better than they ever thought possible.
Our customers are at the heart of our business. We're committed to providing exceptional customer and patient care, be the first choice for pharmacy and healthcare, offer innovative products 'only at Boots', with great value our customers love.
Our first store in
Today we are a huge name on the Irish high street providing customers with all their healthcare and beauty needs. In November 2009 we opened a new flagship store in Cork’s city centre, which was the fifth Boots store opened in Ireland in 2009. There are currently 55 stores in Ireland, employing 1750* people nationwide, including over 120 pharmacists.

Our dedication to offering great value has remained unchanged and because we believe that our customers deserve great quality and great value all year long, we check our prices every single week. This keeps us up to date with what's happening in the market so we can be more competitive.
But we believe value is about more than just price. We bring great value to our customers in lots of other ways including fantastic promotions throughout the year, expert health and beauty advice and 4c back worth of points per €1 spent with our famous Boots Advantage card.

Giving something back
We are committed to supporting the important work of charitable causes. We have a long relationship with the Irish Cancer Society and its Action Breast Cancer campaign. Every October for eight years, we've teamed up with Action Breast Cancer, raising much-needed funds to help them continue their work educating Irish women about breast cancer, its causes and how to check for it.
We're also right behind the Meningitis Research Foundation as they raise awareness of the symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia - particularly when those illnesses affect babies and children. We've been supporting Meningitis Research Awareness Month every year since 2004.
This year has also seen Boots join forces with a third charity partner, the Irish Hospice Foundation, who recognise the need to improve services for people with terminal illnesses. This is a great charity and we’re really excited to be able to support their work through fundraising across our stores.
