L'Oreal Casting I like very much this new brand, and the Golden Honey shade June 19, 2009
Not bad... could do better I loved the way that this made my hair feel - soft, and well conditioned. However... I wash my hair either daily or every other day, and the colourant continued to come out in my hair for a week after dying it. I managed to stain a white towel, thinking it would be ok after a week, but sadly not. Unfortunately this means that it's not completely permanent. I'd wanted to dye over some grey streaks which I have, but although the rest of my hair is a similar colour to begin with, albeit a shade lighter, I now have brassy red bits where the grey once was, so not reccommended for covering grey! Loreal Casting Creme I chose the Golden Honey shade as it looked like a golder version of my natural colour but a similar shade. However, I got it wrong and despite doing a strand test my actual colour came out very light and rather gingery so I wasn't happy. The packaging is misleading too as it clearly says non-permanent on it but this is going to be permanent - until I find something else to dye it out with. Smells nice though and easy to follow instructions. August 14, 2009
