John Frieda Sheer Blonde Tone-Correcting Conditioner 250ml
A must have for anyone dying their hair back to blonde!
I have naturally medium blonde hair and decided to take the plunge 6months ago to become a fully fledged brunette. I was sensible and went to my hairdressers as I didn't want to end up with any hair disasters. I enjoyed being brunette but missed my blonde hair. So two days ago I went back to the salon and thankfully my hair was in good condition so she was able to strip it. As I expected there were red undertones and lots of blonde highlights. It's was an all over strawberry blonde colour which was fine. I was then booked in two weeks later to have my highlights put in. However yesterday I noticed the brassy undertones were developing more in my hair and after reading lots of product reviews I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner. After one use the brassiness and red tones have calmed down, and i now have a lovely golden blond colour. I will use this product again. Great base for adding highlights to become fully blond again!

Phew toned down orange highlights!
I went to the salon to get my almost black (over dyed dark brown) hair lightened by having freehand balayage highlights put it. We knew from the start the outcome was unsure as we had to get through the dye first, and we had left it maximum amount of time, and ended up with an auburn brown colour that had a really strong orange glow, although it looked good, it didnt really suit my cool pinky skin tone, especially in the sunlight as it lit up to a real ginger. We tried toning and this worked for all of about 1 wash and seemed to disappear and as this also has a 10% developer i didnt want to keep doing that, as my hair has taken about as much as it can right now and i can see the odd split end. ANYWAYS...this was literally my last chance after experimenting with blue food dye, and i happy to say that after 2 uses i can already see the orange toned down and now is more of a rich brown, which i am really happy with! Surprised that they dont actually have a range for people like me, as i see so many people asking the same thing, and this works! Their brunette range just puts more warmth and the blonde range makes things cooler as a lot of us brunettes prefer!
