Hugo Boss BOSS The Scent Deodorant Stick 75ml
Hitting the right note
At first I was a little unsure of Boss 'The Scent' since the description included the word 'seduction'. When I look for a fragrance, I want to find one that suits my personality, style and can be used during the day and at night. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fragrant notes were not overpowering, yet bold enough to stand out. It can definitely be used during the day or at night, which is a winner for me.
The ginger and the leather blends really come through, and gives a sense of luxury with it. It's amazing how a fragrance can leave you feeling more confident and I'd certainly recommend this.
Receiving lots of nice compliments is always welcome, so I can most definitely say I'm a fan of Boss fragrance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A bit floral, but nice!
When I opened the packaging for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the look and colours of the fragrance! With a black and bronze theme, it definitely came across as a suave and sleek fragrance - definitely a masculine one too! The colour of the liquid is pleasant. Overall, good first impressions from a great brand!
Upon reading the description of the product on the inside cover, I wasn't too sure about the wording. "Unforgettable like a savored seduction" doesn't make sense to me, and didn't make sense to others that I asked either. Capitalising words like ginger, maninka and leather is also a mistake that the company have made here.
The smell of the product immediately hit me as refreshing and light, but powerful at the same time. I then got a waft of flowers, which I wasn't too sure about, but it wasn't too powerful - I did think it was a bit feminine, though. After a while, the flowery scent died down and it smelt very pleasant. This smell isn't my favourite, but it's up there.
When asking others what they wanted to know before getting the product, they said whether the smell was overpowering, and whether it was a masculine fragrance. In retrospect, it wasn't overpowering, and did border on masculine, but could probably get away as being feminine if the floral smells remained for a bit longer. I could smell this all day, to be honest! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Feeling like a Boss
I guess I should be upfront. I wear Boss Fragrance most the time. Mostly Red. It's been my 'default' for the past two years due to me enjoying the fruitiness. My fiancée thinks it is very me. But then I guess she's not known anything else.
In trying Boss the scent for a night out last night it really added an extra level to my 'outfit'. Suit, shirt, tie and Boss the scent. I get that there is a 007 scent but this is the one that made me feel like Bond. And My fiancée filled the role of 'Bond Girl' very well indeed. Although not as 'fruity' as I would usually try it wears very well as a manly fragrance. And is more suited for a suit and tie night out than my usual. I also feel this would be perfect for an important client visit at work. So will be stashing one in my desk draw and share the rest with my friends (but not colleagues at this point as I don't want them with the same advantage in meetings!).
In short, not something I would have bought... But from trying it I can see a larger bottle making it's way to my dressing table in the next month or so. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
