General Boots Advantage Card scheme conditions

  1. The Boots Advantage Card scheme and Boots Advantage Card is operated by Boots Retail (Ireland) Limited 2F, Block 71A, Park West Business Park, Nangor Road, Dublin 12 Ireland (Boots). Please do not send correspondence to this address
  2. To get the latest terms and conditions or for general enquiries please call 1890 200085† or write to Boots Customer Care, PO Box 5300, Nottingham, NG90 1AA
  3. Boots can cancel, withdraw or alter the scheme, including these terms and conditions, or any individual Boots Advantage Card account, at any time
  4. All Boots Advantage Cards (including temporary cards) belong to Boots
  5. The Republic of Ireland Boots Advantage Card scheme is only valid in Republic of Ireland Boots stores and at boots.ie
  6. We do not issue additional cards for the same account
  7. If we identify that you hold two or more Boots Advantage Card accounts, we may merge them into one account at our discretion
  8. The Boots Advantage Card scheme is for personal use only; business use is strictly prohibited and constitutes abuse. Boots reserves the right, at point of purchase or retrospectively, to determine whether a transaction constitutes business usage
  9. Boots can take any action it considers appropriate, including removing or suspending a Boots Advantage Card account and points accrued, if we have reason to believe you are abusing the scheme or associated clubs and offers
  10. Use of additional offers and benefits associated with your Boots Advantage Card account are subject to store network availability
  11. Boots will remove Boots Advantage Card points from Boots Advantage Card accounts that haven't been used for two years or have been closed
  12. To benefit from the Boots Advantage Card scheme you must be aged 12 years or over. We will not communicate with a customer until an appropriate age of consent is reached, excluding the distribution of their permanent Boots Advantage Card

Temporary Boots Advantage Card

  1. A temporary Boots Advantage Card can only be used to collect points. You must use a permanent Boots Advantage Card to be able to redeem the points that you have collected
  2. You must apply for your permanent Boots Advantage Card within 12 months of first using your temporary Boots Advantage Card, otherwise all points collected on your temporary card will be lost and no further points can be assigned to this card
  3. You must stop using your temporary Boots Advantage Card as soon as your permanent card arrives
  4. Some offers are only available to permanent Boots Advantage Card members
  5. It is your responsibility to keep your temporary Boots Advantage Card safe, photocopies will not be accepted
  6. If you lose your temporary Boots Advantage Card before you apply for your permanent Boots Advantage Card, the points collected will be lost

Collecting Boots Advantage Card points

  1. You will collect four Boots Advantage Card points for every €1 you spend on qualifying purchases; the number of points collected may vary. In store, points will usually be added to your Boots Advantage Card at the time you buy products and services included in the scheme
  2. If you forget your Boots Advantage Card, please ask the cashier to validate your receipt. You will need to provide the validated receipt within 45 days of the transaction with your Boots Advantage Card to be able to collect your points
  3. After shopping online at boots.ie, your points will automatically be uploaded onto your Boots Advantage Card account within five days of your products being dispatched
  4. Boots Advantage Card Points are not available on prescription and selected dispensary items, licensed medicines, infant milks (up to six months), gift boxes, charitable merchandise, and delivery charges for purchases made online.
  5. Points are not available on gift cards/vouchers except during special promotional events.
  6. During Boots Advantage Card points events, both in-store and online, existing points promotions will not be multiplied
  7. Online, Boots Advantage Card points promotions may not be available or may vary. Check individual promotion details
  8. Boots Retail (Ireland) Limited reserves the right to withdraw Boots Advantage Card points promotions/offers without notice

Spending Boots Advantage Card points

  1. One point is worth one cent to spend on products in store and online at boots.ie. We will not exchange Boots Advantage Card points for cash and the offer is non-transferable
  2. Points cannot be spent on prescription and selected dispensary items, licensed medicines, infant milks (up to 6 months), mobile phone top-up cards, gift vouchers, charitable merchandise and Bootsphoto.ie
  3. You must have enough Boots Advantage Card points to cover the cost of the item; you cannot make a part payment of points towards a product or service
  4. Boots reserves the right to ask for identification such as driving licence or bus pass when redeeming points
  5. You will not qualify for Boots Advantage Card points, extra points offers or discounts that are related to Boots Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s or any other scheme offers/benefits, products or services when you pay with points
  6. We reserve the right to substitute or remove products and services available for Boots Advantage Card points collection and redemption in store and online without notice
  7. Spending points may be subject to network availability in store or online

Boots Advantage Card free delivery terms and conditions

  1. If you pay for your boots.ie order with Boots Advantage Card points and pay a delivery charge either with Boots Advantage Card points or pounds, you will qualify for free standard home delivery on your second order within the next 24 hours
  2. If you are eligible, a message will be displayed on the order confirmation screen when you've placed your first order and the promotion time frame will begin when this page loads. Your second order must be placed using the same boots.ie account as the first order
  3. To qualify you must pay for your first order with Boots Advantage Card points. On the second order, free delivery applies to standard home delivery service only; all other delivery services (including heavy/bulky orders) are excluded
  4. Once you have qualified for the Boots Advantage Card free delivery service on your second order, the promotion is no longer valid. This is still the case if this order is cancelled at a later stage

Returning goods

  1. If you return a product for a refund, we will deduct the number of Boots Advantage Card points collected from your Boots Advantage Card account
  2. If a product you buy with Boots Advantage Card points is faulty, please return it to any Republic of Ireland Boots store. If necessary, we will credit your account with the correct number of points. No cash refund will be given in these circumstances

About the Boots Parenting Club and More Treats for Over 60s

  1. By completing your due date/child's details or ticking the box in the More Treats for Over 60s section on the application form, you confirm that you would like to join Boots Parenting Club or sign up to More Treats for Over 60s
  2. If you want to join Parenting Club or sign up to More Treats for Over 60s you must consent to be mailed. By providing your contact details, you confirm you are happy for Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s to communicate with you by post, email, text message or receive associated newsletters. You will receive these communications even if you choose not to receive other marketing material from Boots
  3. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw Boots Parenting Club and/or More Treats for Over 60s and the associated benefits at any time and without notice. Partners may change at any time.
  4. After your membership of Parenting Club ends, Boots will use the information you have given us about your child to continue to provide you with relevant offers and information but we will only send you marketing material if you have agreed we can do so
  5. Any offers you receive are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash. Alternatives will not be offered
  6. 10 points offer is valid for in store and online for Parenting Club only. More Treats for Over 60s points offer only available in store
  7. Boots Parenting Club and More Treats for Over 60s deals and points offers are subject to network availability
  8. Promotions for triple/double points may be offered, during these promotions members of More Treats for Over 60s and Parenting Club will only receive double/triple 4 points per €1 plus an additional 6 club points spent on qualifying items. 10 points per €1 will not be doubled/tripled during these promotions. For products and services on points promotions you will only receive the fixed number of points advertised. No additional points will be collected
  9. Boots reserves the right to determine which products should be in this offer
  10. 10 points offer excludes prescription items, medicines, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, charitable merchandise and items purchased using professional discount cards.

Boots Parenting Club offers

  1. Boots Parenting Club is free and exclusive to Republic of Ireland Boots Advantage Card members who are pregnant or have a child under 3 years of age
  2. Boots Parenting Club is an email-only programme. If you do not provide your email address, we will not be able to send you your welcome email or send you important information about new offers, promotions and events. Offers available in two weeks of joining the club and only available through email and the Boots app
  3. To collect 10 Boots Advantage Card points for every €1 you spend on baby products in the baby area every time you shop excluding infant milks (up to six months), you will need to be signed up to Boots Parenting Club and have the 10 points offer activated on your Boots Advantage Card account. Your 10 points offer will be activated within 72 hours from joining
  4. Additional offers and gifts will be sent to you via the Boots app and are subject to availability. Further conditions may apply to each offer, and these will be clearly explained in the Boots app offer details
  5. We reserve the right to stop sending Boots Parenting Club offers and emails if you do not continue to buy baby products
  6. Promotions for triple/double points may be offered, during these promotions members of More Treats for Over 60s will only receive double/triple 4 points per €1 plus an additional 6 club points spent on qualifying items. 10 points per €1 will not be doubled/tripled during these promotions. For products and services on points promotions you will only receive the fixed number of points advertised. No additional points will be collected

More Treats for Over 60s

  1. More Treats for Over 60s is free and open to Republic of Ireland residents who are members of the Republic of Ireland Boots Advantage Card scheme and aged 60 or over
  2. More Treats for Over 60s is an email-only programme. If you do not provide your email address, we will not be able to send you your welcome email which contains your 10 Boots Advantage Card points offer or send you important information about new offers, promotions and events
  3. To collect 10 Boots Advantage Card points for every €1 you spend on Boots-branded products every time you shop, you will need to be signed up for More Treats for Over 60s and have activated the 10 points offer on your Boots Advantage Card account in store
  4. Proof of age will be required at the time of activation, such as a driving licence, bus pass or passport
  5. You must present your permanent Boots Advantage Card each time you shop to receive the 10 Boots Advantage Card points offer. The 10 points offer will not be awarded retrospectively
  6. 10 points offer excludes prescription and selected dispensary items, licensed medicines, infant milks (up to six months), gift vouchers, charitable merchandise and delivery charges for purchases made online
  7. Promotions for triple/double points may be offered, during these promotions members of More Treats for Over 60s will only receive double/triple 4 points per €1 plus an additional 6 club points spent on qualifying items. 10 points per €1 will not be doubled/tripled during these promotions.
