Using my Boots Advantage Card online

Learn how to use your Boots Advantage Card and collect points online


To register your Boots Advantage Card just follow these simple steps:

  • 1. Click 'Boots Advantage Card' at the top of the screen
  • 2. Scroll down to 'My Boots Advantage Card account'
  • 3. Enter your e-mail address in the 'register' box
  • 4. Enter your details including your Boots Advantage Card number

If you're having difficulty adding your Boots Advantage Card to your Boots.ie account, this could mean that there is no date of birth included in your Boots Advantage Card account details. Please call our Boots Advantage Card customer care team on 1 890 200 085.

If you've already registered your Boots Advantage Card details online, you can then update your personal details by following the steps below.

  • 1. Click 'My Boots Advantage Card account' to login
  • 2. Enter your e-mail address and password
  • 3. Click 'my personal details'
  • 4. Update the field required and press submit

If you're waiting to receive your permanent Boots Advantage Card don't forget you can still collect points online with your temporary card. Simply enter the card number including the letter 'T' into the Boots Advantage Card number section in your shopping basket before you make your payment.

If you're using someone elses Boots Advantage Card to collect points, don't add it to your account. Just type the card number in at the checkout.

1890 numbers (LoCall rate) call charges will vary depending upon your provider. Calls from mobiles, payphones and charge cards may cost more.

Collecting points online

  • Collect 4 points for every €1 you spend on almost everything you buy on www.boots.ie.*
  • Your points will be automatically uploaded on to your Boots Advantage Card account five days after you make your purchase at www.boots.ie.

To check your points balance online follow the instructions below:

  • 1. Click 'Boots Advantage Card' at the top of the screen
  • 2. Scroll down to 'My Boots Advantage Card account'
  • 3. Login or register
  • 4. Your points balance will be displayed in the top right hand corner

Spending Boots Advantage Card points

  • 1 point = 1 cent to spend on almost anything* in store and online at www.boots.ie.
  • To spend points on boots.ie you must first register your Boots Advantage Card - see above steps for how to register your Boots Advantage Card.
  • You must have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card account to cover the cost of the products you wish to purchase.
  • You will need a permanent Boots Advantage Card to be able to spend your points. Find out how to sign up for a permanent Boots Advantage Card.
  • You can select whether to pay for a product with points or €s when viewing products in your basket.
  • If you would like to buy a range of products from www.boots.ie but only have enough points to cover the cost of one of the items you can do the following:

    • 1. Move the items you would like to pay for in €s to 'Purchase later', this option is in a drop down menu next to each item in your basket
    • 2. Select pay with points for the item you would like to pay for with your Boots Advantage Card points
    • 3. If you have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card account you can choose whether you pay for your delivery with points or €s, we will highlight all your delivery options that you can pay for with Boots Advantage Card points. If you have spent €40 or over you will qualify for our free delivery service
    • 4. You can then go onto 'Purchase later'** and buy your remaining items with €s, if you complete this transaction within 24hrs of the first purchase you will receive 'free delivery+'

* Points cannot be spent on infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers or cards, mobile phone top-up cards and gift boxes.

** Items saved in 'Purchase later' will be deleted after 28 days, to keep these items for longer you will need to save them in your 'Wish list' or 'Favourites'.
