The following frequently asked questions should help answer your Advantage Card queries.

Difficulty adding your Boots Advantage Card to your boots.ie account

If you're having difficulty adding your Boots Advantage Card to your boots.ie account, this could mean that there is no date of birth included in your Boots Advantage Card account details. Please call our boots.ie team on 1 890 200 008. Amending your personal details

How do I amend my personal details?

You can easily change your personal details by visiting the My personal details in your Boots Advantage Card account.

New card/replacement card queries

What happens if my Boots Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

If your Boots Advantage Card is lost, stolen or damaged we can send you a replacement Boots Advantage Card and transfer your old points balance onto it.

To report a card lost or stolen, click here. Log in, click 'order a new card' and simply follow the instructions online, we'll do the rest.

I have a replacement Boots Advantage Card, how do I register my new Boots Advantage Card number to my account?

If you have a replacement Boots Advantage Card, your account should automatically be updated.

I already have a temporary Boots Advantage Card from store, but I want a permanent Boots Advantage Card

To get a permanent Boots Advantage Card, click here and complete the application form.

If have any questions phone customer care on 1 890 200 085*, they will be able to order a permanent Boots Advantage Card for you.

I have not received my permanent Boots Advantage Card

If it is more than three weeks since you applied, please call the Boots Advantage Card team on 1 890 200 085*.

I have received my permanent card, what happens to the points on my temporary card?

All of your points should have been credited to your account. If you do not think this has happened, please call Customer Care on 1 890 200 085*

You must destroy your temporary card as soon as you have received your permanent card in the post.

I have a Republic of Ireland (ROI) Boots Advantage Card, can I use it in the UK?

ROI Boots Advantage Cards cannot be used in the Boots stores in the UK or at boots.com.

Registering on boots.ie and collecting my points

How do I retrieve the points I've collected when shopping online?

Your points will be automatically uploaded on to your Boots Advantage Card account up to five days after you make your purchase at boots.ie.

You can see your points balance by logging onto your Boots Advantage Card account online or at the bottom of your till receipt in store.

Why can't I register the temporary Boots Advantage Card I received in store to my boots.ie account?

Unfortunately, you can't register your temporary Boots Advantage Card with your boots.ie account, you have to register your permanent card,once it arrives. However, you can still collect points online by entering your temporary Boots Advantage Card number at the checkout. Your temporary Boots Advantage Card number is on the back of the card.

My points balance

How do I check my points balance in store?

There's an Boots Advantage Card points statement at the bottom of your till receipt, which will tell you how many points you have collected with each purchase and what they're worth to spend on products in store. Or, you can ask any Boots colleague in store, they will be more than happy to help.

How do I check my points balance online?

To check your points online, you'll need to sign up to boots.ie and register your Boots Advantage Card to your account. You can then check your balance via 'My account.'

Spending points

How do I spend my points?

You can spend your points any time on almost anything in store and get that wonderful 'I've paid with my points' feeling. When you get to the till, just hand over your Boots Advantage Card and let the cashier know you would like to pay with points. You'll need the full amount of points for the product you choose. For example 199 points will pay for a product priced at €1.99. The total price in points will then be taken from your Boots Advantage Card.

You can spend your points at boots.ie by selecting whether to pay for a product with points or €s when viewing products in your basket.

If you would like to buy a range of products from boots.ie but only have enough points to cover the cost of one of the items, you can do the following:

  1. Move the items you would like to pay for in €s to 'Purchase later', this option is in a drop down menu next to each item in your basket.
  2. Select pay with points for the item you would like to pay for with your Boots Advantage Card points.
  3. If you have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card account you can choose whether you pay for your delivery with points or €s, we will highlight all your delivery options that you can pay for with Boots Advantage Card points. If you have spent €50 or over you will qualify for our free delivery service.
  4. You can then go onto 'Purchase later' and buy your remaining items with €s.

To spend points on boots.ie you must first register your Boots Advantage Card. You must have enough points on your Boots Advantage Card account to cover the cost of the products you wish to purchase. You will need a permanent Boots Advantage Card to be able to spend your points, to sign-up for a permanent Boots Advantage Card go to Sign up now.

I have bought an item using my points, am I still entitled to an exchange/refund?

Yes, if you are taking an item back into store, please ensure you bring the Boots Advantage Card which was used in the transaction with you so the points can be credited back onto the account. Our usual refund policy applies for the item.

Clubs and schemes

Clubs and schemes

To sign up for extra benefits, you will need to register with boots.ie and sign up for, or register your Boots Advantage Card. During your Boots Advantage Card application, you'll get the chance to sign up to Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s (for customers aged 60 or over).

If you already have a boots.ie account and a Boots Advantage Card, you will need to log-in to your account and click the Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s links.

Alternatively, visit:

More Treats for Over 60s can only be taken advantage of in store and you cannot currently collect or spend extra points online.

Please call the Boots Advantage Card team on 1 890 200 085* who will be happy to help you sign up to any extra benefits that you are eligible for.

I haven't received anything regarding More Treats for Over 60s since I signed up

It can take four to six weeks for you to initially receive your More Treats for Over 60s welcome email. If it has been longer than six weeks, please contact our customer care helpline on 1 890 200 085*.

I signed up to More Treats for Over 60s but I'm not receiving my 10 points for every €1 when I shop for Boots branded and No7 products online

Unfortunately, the More Treats for Over 60s extra benefits are not currently available when shopping online.

I haven't received anything regarding Parenting Club since I signed up

It can take two weeks for you to initially receive your welcome email from Boots Parenting Club. If it has been longer than two weeks, please contact Customer Care on 1 890 200 085.*

I signed up to Parenting Club but I'm not receiving my 10 points for every €1 when I shop for baby products in store

When you receive your welcome email you will be informed that you are now able to receive 10 points per €1 on baby products in store. If you have received this email, and are still not receiving your points, please call Customer Care on 1 890 200 085* and they will be able to assist you.

I signed up to Parenting Club but I'm not receiving my 10 points for every €1 when I shop for baby products in online

Please make sure you have registered your details correctly online and your account recognises you as a member of Boots Parenting Club. If your account details are correct, please call Customer Care on 1 890 200 085* and they will be able to assist you.

I no longer want to be a member of a club

If you no longer want to be a member of either Boots Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60s, you can either amend your details on boots.ie or call customer care on 1 890 200 085*

What do you do with my data?

We only share your details with companies in the Alliance Boots group and businesses that process Boots Advantage Card information on our behalf, for example to produce your Boots Advantage Card and print our mailings. We will analyse your purchase history to provide you with relevant and personalised offers, information and advice, in helping you to choose products that are right for you.

Boots Advantage Card free delivery terms and conditions

  • If you pay for your boots.ie order with Boots Advantage Card points and pay a delivery charge either with Boots Advantage Card points or €s, you will qualify for free standard home delivery on your second order within the next 24 hours.
  • If you are eligible, a message will be displayed on the order confirmation screen when you've placed your first order and the promotion time frame will begin when this page loads. Your second order must be placed using the same boots.ie account as the first order.
  • To qualify you must pay for your first order with Boots Advantage Card points. On the second order, free delivery applies to standard home delivery service only; all other delivery services including heavy/bulky orders are excluded.
  • Once you have qualified for the Boots Advantage Card free delivery service on your second order, the promotion is no longer valid. This is still the case if this order is cancelled at a later stage.
