Cow & Gate 2 Follow-On Milk from Six Months 900g
Between 6 and 12 months, your baby goes through a rapid stage of growth and development. During the first stages of weaning your baby will only be able to manage a tiny amount of food, so milk will still remain a vital source of nutrients. Cow & Gate follow-on milk provides the key nutrients needed to support your baby's food diet from 6 months, including iron and vitamin D.
How to use
Feeding guide 6-12 months. Approx. 1 beaker: Amount of water: 210ml 7fl.oz, Number of level scoops: 7. Cow & Gate follow-on milk from 6 months can be used as a drink or mixed with other foods. Cow & Gate follow-on milk is specially formulated to help meet the increased nutritional needs of infants from 6-12 months. Your baby may need more or less than the feeding guide above. Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill. Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers' instructions. Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave kettle to cook for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilised beaker. Do not add powder to boiling water due to risk of scalding. Using the scoop provided, level off the powder with the built-in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder. Add one scoop to every 30 ml (1 fl oz) of boiled cooled water. Add the correct number of scoops to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Mix well for 10 seconds to dissolve powder. Replace lid on beaker. Cool under running tap. Check temperature of feed. Feed immediately. For hygiene reasons, do not store made up feeds. Make up each feed as required and always discard unfinished feeds after 2 hours. If necessary offer cooled boiled water between feeds. Do not heat in a microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding.
Use powder within 4 weeks of opening and store in a cool dry place. Do not refrigerate. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
