Clinique Face Tinted Lotion 50ml
Clinique Self Tan Face Tinted Lotion
Although the picture showing here is incorrect, the product is wonderful! I have had my years of abusing my skin in the sun and now I know better, I self tan!! I am naturally pasty looking, especially in the winter months and sometimes foundation just isn't good enough. I am a huge Clinique fan and came across this purely by accident as my usual brand by another company was discontinued. After reading about the product in a magazine and talking with the Clinique consultant I decided to give it a go. Now here's the warning - be careful!! As with all self tans there is the staining risk and if you do not wash this off your hands with soap and water straight after applying you will end up with stained palms for 2-3 days (yes, its that good!)
I made a few boo-boo's on first try (don't ask!) but if you treat this product a bit like a moisturiser and put a small amount on your fingers and rub gently together, then smooth over face and neck you will get a much better result. The colour is a warm bronze, not orange like some cheaper versions. If you want to go deeper, just add more later, but for me one application is enough. The tan develops over the course of a couple of hours (I do an overnight job, its easier!) Its non greasy, does not have that horrible fake tan smell and I have to say, my skin looks and feels much better as I don't use foundation when I have this on just a touch of powder. I am now on my second tube and will be stocking up at the duty free when holiday time comes around! £16 sounds like alot, but its a quality product and lasts really well. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this because I have sensitive eyes but I'm afraid I don't rate it. The smell is absolutely dreadful, like fake tans from years ago...I thought we'd moved on a bit since then! It goes on a patchy orange colour and when this has been washed off there's not much tan left. It's not a terribly expensive product but is definitely not worth the money.
