Charles Worthington Colour Revive Mousse, Violet Toning
This product is great to have a slight violet tone to your hair and gets rid of any brassiness that may be coming through.
It's so easy to use and is great for a colour boost! Love it!

Only thing I found so far that works
I had an ombré style job done on my hair at the salon, however a few days later it went a brassy sort of colour. I really didn't want to put anymore harsh chemicals on my hair, I tried the violet shampoos etc which had very little effect, then I saw this little gem on offer and went for it, I've got to say it's the best thing I've used to far, when I put it on my damp hair I can literally see the change straight away. I do use more than it says to which I haven't found any harm in doing. Will definitely be buying again

Not a great success for me!
I'm not sure if I'm more at fault in my case than this product is, but it just didn't have the impressive results I was expecting. I'd just dip-dyed my hair myself with a home kit, and was intrigued by this product as a potential alternative to purple shampoo to eliminate the brassiness you can expect from bleaching hair, especially previously dark hair like my own. After reading promising reviews across the range and as it stated it was also suitable for coloured hair I picked one up. I hadn't even noticed to begin with that you don't rinse it out, it's a leave in colour tint, which didn't bother me too much - until I was at the blow drying stage and my already weary hair felt substantially more parched and unmanageable than it had done and as though it was very weighed down with residue. Once dry it was apparent that the silvery tint had taken sporadically to my hair, leaving an ashy blonde colour on some parts but the rest was untouched - not the flattering all over effect I was hoping for and unsightly yellow patches still present. Obviously this could've been caused by the varying levels of blonde that my hair was to start with, but if you are contemplating on whether to buy this product and you're in a similar position I would reconsider before opting for this as it may do more damage than good. Overall the process itself was extremely simple, but perhaps best suited to virgin hair or hair that has been dyed one solid colour.
