Boots Pharmaceuticals Flexible Ankle Support combines effective support to the joint with gentle compression over the ankle to ease discomfort and reduce swelling. It helps to stabilise the joint, without restricting movement, while your injury heals.

How to use
Always read the product information before use.
To minimise swelling and reduce pain after injury use the following techniques:
P. Protection: Protect the injury from further damage by wearing the support.
R. Rest: Avoid activity that causes pain in the first 48-72 hours after the injury.
I. Ice: Cool the injured area as soon as possible for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours to limit pain and inflammation.
C. Compression: Use supports or bandages to compress the affected area and reduce swelling.
E. Elevation: Keep the injured area raised and supported to help reduce the swelling.
Choosing the correct size:
Measure around the central point of the ankle.
Small – 19cm – 22cm / 7 ½ - 8 ½ inches ankle dimension.
Medium - 22cm – 25cm / 8 ½ - 9 ¾ inches ankle dimension.
Large – 25cm – 28cm / 9 ¾ - 11 inches ankle dimension.

WARNING: Do not wear Flexible Ankle Support if warming or heat generating liniments, ointments or creams have been applied.
NOTE: The support should be sized correctly to ensure maximum benefit. If the support is being used following an injury seek medical advice if no improvement is seen within 72 hours. If the injury is severe or if in any doubt seek medical advice immediately
