Boots Faster Healing Waterproof Dressings have a flexible film backing with a strong adhesive, allowing the dressing to stay in place as long as possible, maximising the healing process and reducing scarring. The waterproof film prevents wounds from getting wet even during bathing and showering. These dressings have a hypoallergenic adhesive so they are kind to sensitive skin.
For minor cuts and grazes with light weeping or bleeding.
How to use
Clean the affected area with water, a mild antiseptic solution or antiseptic wipe and then pat dry. Ensure that the affected area is completely dry before applying the dressing.
Remove the dressing from its wrapper and peel off the first, unprinted protective wing.
Position the dressing centrally over the affected area.
Remove the second wing and smooth onto the skin.
Replace with a fresh dressing as necessary.
Hazards and Cautions
- Do not use on infected wounds
- If bleeding persists or the wound becomes reddened, swollen, painful or does not appear to heal, seek medical advice
- Do not use after the expiry date- see bottom of pack or individual wrapper
- Use only once.
- Sterile until opened
- Ensure carton seal is not broken before first use
- Store in a cool dry place.
