Boots Essentials Fragrance Free Eye Make Up Remover Lotion 150ml
When I bought this I was looking for a relatively cheap eye makeup remover which I could use everyday. I've used it about 5 times though and won't be using it again. I usually use a liquid one, but thought I might give a lotion one a try, so I thought I might not be liking it just because it was a lotion which I wasn't used to - but unfortunetly after giving it a few goes it never removed my makeup properly. It can be messy, and I didn't like the feeling of rubbing a cream over my eyes, as it really stung to get it in them. I had to use a n awful lot of cotton wool pads to get it all off.

Been using this for years!
I love this eye make up remover. it makes your eyes feel soft, dissolves all my mascara (which is a big thing as I wear a lot of mascara) and is really cheap too. I always use a face wipe afterwards to remove any excess around my eyes but this alone will remove all of it if I used a little more. The bottle lasts a couple of months generally :) it's a great product

Best I've ever tried - removes even the toughest mascara
Once or twice I've tried putting this on a cotton pad, but I don't think that's the best way to use this stuff.
What works for me is to put a tiny amount (size of a baked bean, maybe?) on one index finger, spread it between two index fingers by rubbing them together, then gently massage onto my eyelid, mostly around the lash line. (Eyes closed, of course!) I smoosh it around for about 10 seconds.
Then (eyes still closed!) I wipe it off with a cotton pad, at which point I can open my eyes. No stinging, no 'filmy' sensation on my eyeball, and usually not a trace of mascara left over.
I recently switched to using latex sponges instead of cotton pads, which feel really gentle. I just bung those in the wash when I do my whites, they seem to be doing ok so far.
